Who does KP Rentals work for?
Tenants only. We are engaged by the tenant to help them find a home, and we do not act as the landlord's agent.
What kind of rentals do you help with?
Long-term homes with a lease of 6 months or more, such as studios and 1- and 2-bedroom apartments.
Which areas do you cover?
Amsterdam and nearby (Amstelveen, Diemen, Zaandam), Hoofddorp and Rotterdam.
What does it cost?
Our fee: one month's rent (excl. VAT if applicable), paid only once you sign a lease. It is agreed in writing before we start. Landlords pay us nothing.
Do I go to the viewings myself?
Yes. We coordinate the viewing with the landlord or property manager, and tenants attend viewings themselves.
What documents will I need?
Usually a valid ID, your employment contract or an employer letter, and recent payslips. Many landlords ask for a monthly income of 3 to 4 times the rent. We tell you what a specific landlord needs.
Who sees my documents?
We share your full documents with a landlord only after you agree to that specific home. Read more in our privacy notice.
Can you guarantee I will get a home?
No. The landlord always makes the final choice. What we do is make sure you are well prepared and put forward for homes that genuinely fit.
